Working with Collegiate Student-Athletes with ADHD
Course Schedule (specific time spacing subject to vary)
10 minutes: Overview of the course
40 minutes: Discuss ADHD diagnosis criteria and considerations with collegiate student-athletes
40 minutes: Discuss areas of functional impairment for collegiate student-athletes
15 minutes: Break (no CEs)
40 minutes: Discuss challenges student-athletes with ADHD may face within the context of the sport environment
40 minutes: Discuss interventions / approaches to use with collegiate student-athletes with ADHD to reduce challenges and promote success
10 minutes: Wrap-up & final questions
Post-test and course evaluation: 15minutes (approximate; not included in CE credits)
